Which online purchases can be returned or exchanged?

Purchases made in person from our retail locations have different return policies. Please see both policies below.

In-store Purchases

  • For hygiene and sanitary reasons some items are not eligible for returns.
  • Unopened items may be returned in the original packaging at original pricing within 30 days, with proof of purchase.
  • Clothing items must be returned in new condition, unwashed, no signs of wear unless manufacturer defect within 30 days.
  • Leather products may be returned within 15 days with proof of purchase, must be in new condition and never used.
    Leather returns are not accepted after events like Market Days, Pride etc.
  • No returns on personal items or underwear.
  • No refunds or exchanges on Event Tickets.
  • All sale or discounted items are final.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original source of payment (credit or cash).
  • Men’s Room reserves the right to deny any refund for any reason at the discretion of the employee.

Online Purchases

  • Any product that was damaged or defective upon delivery can be returned for a full refund.
  • For hygiene and sanitary reasons some items are not eligible for returns.

How long do I have to return my online purchases?

My item arrived damaged or is defective:

Please contact us immediately to inform us of any item that arrived in less than perfect condition by emailing us at chicago@shopthemensroom.com if shipped from the Chicago store or toronto@shopthemensroom.com if shipped from the Toronto store. Please provide your order number and the email address used in making your purchase. When we get your request, we might ask you to send us a picture of the damaged or defective product so we can better assess the situation. We will provide a return label to have the package sent back at our request.

 

I want to return my purchase:

You may return any unopened or unused product for a refund within 30 days of receipt of your delivery. The product needs to be in its original packaging. Your credit will be processed under the original payment method once the returned product has been received at our store and inspected. We do not refund any original shipping fees and the product must be shipped back to the originating store at your cost.

How do I inquire about employment at THE MEN'S ROOM?

We have a variety of positions available including Retail Customer Service, Store Managers, Graphic Designers, Photographers, Social Media Managers, Barbers, Warehouse etc. Please send us an email at chicago@shopthemensroom.com, toronto@shopthemensroom.com or montreal@shopthemensroom.com with a resume to be considered.

Request for Sponsorship

Men’s Room has always contributed to the promotion of local events, fundraisers and fundraising activities. It is with pride that we continue this tradition.

To be eligible for a sponsorship or partnership with Men’s Room, an organization must:

1.   Be a non-profit organization or an LGBTQIA+ owned/operated business/Event

2.   Request an in kind contribution in the form of a Gift Certificate or Products for Men’s Room Retail and/or Barbershop or Online (Men’s Room makes no financial contribution)

3.   Offer visibility or other compensation of equal value to the Men’s Room contribution.

4.   Allow Men’s Room to reach one of its target audiences:

      a. LGBTQIA+ business customers;
      b. LGBTQIA+ tourists;
      c. LGBTQIA+ community in general.

5.   Demonstrate an affinity of values and mandate with Men’s Room.

Given the large number of requests we receive, it is impossible for us to provide support to every request. No organizations with political or religious affiliations are eligible. Men’s Room does not typically offer sponsorship to individuals.

All requests must be made at least 30 days prior to your event.

Men’s Room reserves the right to decline any application for sponsorship or partnership for any reason.
